Storage That Shows and Hides in Equal Measure

Store your books, display your plants and hide your clutter behind the same piece. The Ashbourne Drop Down Sideboard keeps an open double shelf column permanently visible on the left, while the remaining three sections sit behind drop-front doors that lie flat when open and close clean when shut.

It suits contemporary and transitional living rooms where versatile, good-looking storage matters. The open bays are the kind that end up housing the things you reach for daily; the drop-front compartments handle everything that looks better behind a door.

For anyone who has found that standard sideboards either completely conceal your belongings or leave them entirely on show, this unique Ashbourne format resolves the trade-off by balancing hidden storage with elegant display options

The Detail That Catches You Off Guard

Open any of the drop-front doors and the linen-effect grey interior backing becomes visible. It is not standard box storage inside but a finished quality that lifts the piece beyond its outer profile.

Built from manufactured wood and melamine chipboard with the industrial-contemporary character consistent across Ashbourne, the sideboard sits on sleek black metal sled legs with flat bar pull handles at the top of each drop-front panel. The scratch-resistant vinyl surface handles contact without complaint.

Pick Your Colourway, Set the Room

Bring Oak or Vintage Oak in and the sideboard sits warmly against most wall colours. Dusk Grey and Grey Oak cool the scheme and pair cleanly with white walls or concrete surfaces. Black Ash gives the hardest contrast for rooms already leaning darker.

Cashmere and White keep the atmosphere light; Reed Green pairs naturally with woven fabrics and plants; Yellow brings a muted amber tone that lifts a neutral scheme without taking over.
